    My gaming PC was unable to boot few weeks ago, but I recovered my cxl files using bootable Linux. If its software problem you could do that too.

    Mines doing OK thankfully. Its grown a little. I have over 200000 people now. I've been concentrating on filling in the small empty areas around the main city.

    I really like that there is no rhm highway. Also love your countryside but the airport is maby not in the right place. To be honest i dont think the map is really suitable for a airport. But i do really like the rest and on that bumshell my reply has ended

    I'm trying to make it blend in at the moment. I'm surrounding it with factory's etc just like many airports have in the real world. Only reason I added it was to keep the game happy. I had to terraform the area a bit to make it fit. I was going to make my own using the airport mods but I've never used them before so gave them a miss for this city.
    I also gave RHM a miss on this city. I've had issues with it in other cities so did not want to risk it in this competition.

    Okay here is some more of White Salmon at 290,000 population. I am not exactly sure what I am going for here, but its attempting to be an American City in the Pacific Northwest. Soon growth will stop and I will start focusing on the finer details.

    1. Looking North through the CBD and in the distance in a large industrial area.

    I guess I've been lucky with my game so far. No major crashes yet. Had a funny error a day ago though.
    GRAPH3D EffectFactory.cpp ( 271) Error D3DXCreateEffect has failed. File : <Data/Shader/#.fx> Error : Could not retrieve error message. Press OK to Retry.
    And got this window on the screen,

    Pressing OK did nothing. The window just kept coming back, filling the log up as it did.

    Now, another update.
    Population is at 283845 with lots of traffic issues but can't do much about it.

    I've been working on details in the lager city area. Getting the rivers edges looking good is a slow job with the water roads but worth it.

    When I get that error I get out to game and then clear the shader cache folder, problem goes away then

    @Skullz: Looks awesome, only suggestion might be to either change the location of the airport or that observation tower.

    @Pekka_Laurila: I've been there, it sucks; sorry to hear that. Do you have any backups?

    Looks awesome so far indeed Snick. I agree that the airport is too near the city's downtown. Might be a bit tricky to land or take off from the runway.:p

    It is very interesting to see how peeps build, some nice progress by all so far. I just started mine again only at 6,000 pop, so will build a bit more first then post a screenie.
