    I only got Cities XXL today and I downloaded this mod only for it to crash the dang game - WTFeck? Help me please, I have no idea what I'm doing where mods are concerned and I need talking through what to do.

    I feel like you may have missed a step or are using the wrong file for the wrong version? Basically everyone here uses the community mod with very few issues. If you need help let the community know and they can help you identify what's gone wrong.

    1) Welcome on board :)
    2) is this the only mod you downloaded?
    3) did you put it into the correct folder? There is a description on the overview site of the mod to see where to put it.
    4) does the game run e.g. half an hour without any mods?

    Lesley Sweeting - Did you also download and put in the XL Nation Furniture Dependency Pack 1.7 from the XL Dependency Mods section. Those two mods must run together before you can get any other mods to work in XXL.

    Here's a good video I did to help new players with downloading and using XXL mods, as well as XL mods in XXL. I've done a bunch of good XXL videos you might want to view to show you what's possible with XXL and the mods you'll find on XL Nation.

    The mod is available only by downloading on this site XL NATION

    Download it from the mod home page, and read the instructions to put the file in the correct folder,

    Then you can start your game!

    hi, new to this forum, how do i apply the patch.. my pc is asking me to specify an app to open the .patch file...

    Copy it to your mods folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities XXL\Paks\mods
