    Usually ait new mods are fully compatible with older versions Of the game

    The pb might be more about a few of his older mods being not compatible with xxl version

    Happy New Year!

    Time to get entangled in a new project!

    I have envisioned two large packs, but I can't decide which one to do - so YOU will decide:

    - Arab Pack

    or

    - Hong Kong Pack

    Keep in mind that this poll is not to vote the order in which these packs get done - but to decide which one gets done, and which one may never be done. Perhaps I lose interest in the loser pack and I'll never do it, perhaps not. You have to think this through!


    For the Arab Pack the plan is to have an ample choice of residences and buildings; mostly low rise and some mid rises, too. Villas, small appartments, a school, police station, a strip mall, a hotel, etc. The inspiration would come mostly from less popular cities like Riyadh or Jeddah, although influence from Dubai would be inevitable. But no supertall towers whatsoever. The models would be low-poly, not as detailed as the Paris Pack, more like the Latin American Pack. This pack would allow gamers to recreate different types of Arab / Middle Eastern cities.

    For the Hong Kong Pack the plan is to do residences only. The basis of the pack would be the hideous mid rises in Kowloon, with strong emphasis on a realistic street atmosphere. For that, I would also do a few of the famous street signs to be plopped freely. There would be a few pencil towers and also the massive, repetitive estates that make the HK skyline so unique; I would also do a couple nice luxurious towers to stand out. I would figure out how to make the towers adapt well on slopes, so the city can spread into the mountains. This pack would be awesome looking indeed, but the style woud be more restricted to Hong Kong.
