Unknown Unicode Boxes On Pages

    The Conversation button upper right shows up as F0E0 Unicode box; Alerts as F024 box.
    After the Home, Resourses and Members is a F1D7 box.
    Looks like almost every button ends up as an unknown Unicode box.

    Is it something I am doing or what?
    My font is set to Arial 16 and sites are allowed to choose their own fonts.

    yes i got the same problem, only with firefox, opera looks fine (but i dont want to use it :p )
    checked the web for solutions and everyone tells to allow the choice of own fonts would solve it
    but it doesnt

    Definitely a Firefox problem.
    Occurs on several sites.
    Turning off all security not an acceptable solution.
    Have indicated a ME TOO problem.

    yep.. firefox..
    but this is the only site on the www i noticed this problem
    and turning off all security and ff-addons doesent solve it as well (and wouldnt be acceptable anyway)
    still searching and hoping for a solution, because this is really annoying

    Solved!
    In script blocking, Recently Blocked Sites, allow something like downloadcnd or bootloadcdn which doesn't show up anywhere else.
    I do not remember which name as it disappears after allowing it.
