Titania/work In Progress

Okay guys,
here some photos about Titania,
just that you can see that I am indeed working
on it, not just telling

 

So, after I did a clean re-start with deleting all my previous cities,
I recently found the time to build a bit on Titania:

and a SERIOUS question:
As you can see in the following images,
I used the Arc de Triomphe to embellish Titania.
So the question was whether the whole building construction was too
similar to the original Arc de Triomphe, which was a category 1
building, so to be used only once in whole Alpha Centauri.
If you think so, I will need to demolish it...

Yes, that it looks like a category 1 building is clear.
The question remains whether the whole construction itself is too much looking
alike the real Arc de Triomphe. The real Arc de Triomphe should be built
by a Countries' Player, as reward for having won some contest.
And yes, it looks similar, as I did use the no-collision version of the Arc de Triomphe.
As asked above, is it too similar for your taste?

Yes, well, I don't really like always building megalomaniac structures...
Always have in mind that this kind of utopia/dystopia would not work
if people always felt suppressed by the government, and this even
through the building size...
So I will also build small structures, something I am currently doing...

 

Let's see whether I can throw in some new photos before the year ends...

and also, I want to get your minds blown once the city was mostly done...
Btw, second picture actually shows the splitting of the bridge within air...

 

Here the Central Station of Titania:
Not everything has been finished yet, still I thought it was worth to show
most of the railtracks within the city will run underground, simply because I am too lazy to deal
with all this stuff all the time, and I got better things to do...

 

Okay, here the finished central station complex:

On the right side, you can see the entrance to several (fictive) tunnels,
as most of the train railtracks are running underground, to save space for buildings.

Seems like Titania will not be updated anytime soon, I am sorry
Today, there happened a crash, which usually should not have been that
scary. The scary part happened when I had to notice that the last
two saves that I took within the last weeks obviously were "contagious" ones,
meaning I could not load the city when having put in those saved files...
I am deeply sorry
I hope I nonetheless can makes something out of the photos I have, though...
