    Still long ways from finished obviously but it's a start.

    Hey, great to see a new modder around :)

    I'd have 1 suggestion - no base. I believe it's good not to do any plazas, parkings etc because it limits their use. Just my opinion.

    I mean the plazas around the buildings - vanilla buildings in CXL all have a 40x40 base, but the buildings have different shapes on them, the rest are pavements, lawns, decorations etc. I particularly find this contraproductive, because you a) can't build wall-to-wall easily, and b) when it is a standalone building, all the above doesn't usually fit the rest of the surroundings aesthetically. In your case, if I read the picture correctly, it would mean deleting the bottom green rectangle

    I did like that too, and for my last mod, I removed the base and it's true that it's much better ... (y)

    Now it is a choice ... ;)

    Thanks for the words Dtwizzy. I'll take those suggestions into consideration. Right now I'm just sort of winging it and getting used to the process and just learning the beginner stuff.

    With some help in between.

    You're the modder that did the Toronto building correct? Lovely building btw. and the other work on your thread. Hope you get a chance to finish a few of them in the future.

    Don't worry with the will and this site with all its modders, you will reach your objective.

    Yes that is correct, I did well the building of Toronto, moreover, seen talking about, I think it should be updated, but many projects at the moment .... :confused:

    No Problem Dtwizzy... Um that Toronto building I feel anyways. The only thing needs updating is the roof area.

    Thnx @Wibi Haven't had much motivation or time to make further progress on this particular building. If I had help gathering up the proper textures I would most definitely continue work on it. But for right now it sits in Limbo.

    So last night I was looking through one of Monty's texture tutorial and some other ones and I learned how to use the UVW Unwrap. So with that in mind and done I shall now beable to make a little further progress with the model.

    Added a displacement map. as you can in these changes
    Still learning about Diffuse mapping so that will come next.
