    It doesn't work that way, changing the patch name doesn't make any difference.

    yerp the modder just names the patch file how he wants. xln_ prefix basically is used by modders who upload their mods to xlnation website. A modder can name a patch file anything they want, it will still work on the intended CXL version they created it for.

    Trust these guys, they know what they're talking about.:):):)
    The mods you show as examples probably work in XXL regardless.
    Browse these forums and you will find tons of tech stuff required to convert mods.
    Do a lot more trials and you'll see.
    No real harm done here, but do you really want to be responsible for misleading some folks into thinking the fix is that simple.:unsure::)

    Removed the Resource, sorry but its more involved then described and the last thing I need here is "fixed" patches being confused with legitimate fixes that account for the proper shader and tags needed for XXL
