1. If you are going to register on XLNation, please make sure you do not use a proxy server.
    If you use a proxy server your registration will most likely get blocked due to spammers and hackers using proxy servers to hide their real IP address.

    If your using your home or work IP address and have not received your registration email, check your spam folder.

    I've turned down some settings, but I can't stand the look of the textures...why is that populations has such an effect on the game? Anyway to sandbox and be rid of this problem??? I don't care about #'s...mods don't seem to give me a pure sandbox mode. :(

    That's what the game does, unfortunately. You'll get used to the textures after awhile. I only ever turn my game to high settings to take screenshots.

    I'm not sure what you mean by sandbox mode, however.
