Hello, I've been here on this site for a long time and I've never shared anything that I've built, mainly because I've never properly finished anything, anyway I've decided to finally share some pictures of this city I built a while back - Bandari Tajiri

Bandari Is the capital city of a fictional African country. the city is found on a complex and hilly coastline. It has been inhabited and added to by many different groups of people over Its long history, today Bandari Tajiri is a thriving metropolis, a center for trade and culture within the continent. the city is one of extremes, with many wealthy residents, but also sprawling slums and densely packed apartment blocks. Bandari is home to multiple Universities, Famous Churches and Mosques, Museums, Hotels and Theaters. I Hoe you enjoy these few pictures.

(Hopefully this works, not sure if I've uploaded them right)

    5/5,
    Five stars!

But I have to say that I miss the journal part. You gave like a three sentences introduction and then just showed the images. Some little anecdotes would have been nice to read. Maybe look at the CJs of Clemech4, he has done a great job with that. I know it can be hard sometimes to write something, but you surely have the ability to do so :)

Regarding the city itself, there are some minor weaknesses. First, I see that the terrain of the map is difficult to handle. Nonetheless you chose that map, so you have to deal with it :p For example, it looks a bit unrealistic with the contianer terminal being placed so high above the sea. Also, the streets look quite wide at parts.

But I have to say that I like how you handled the look of the poorer-looking districts, really outstanding. You did not just place one building next to each other, you also cared about little details (e.g. football fields) in between, that really enhances the realism!
I also find it interesting - in a positive way - how you placed the marina buikdings alongside the coast. First, I was a bit surprised that you only placed marina buildings, but did not add plazas, but given the texture of the map, I think it fits best. It may be different for other maps, but here, it's fine :)
Last but not least, nice work with the bridges and the circles ;)

Thanks Kipate, some great ideas, i appreciate the review, I did struggle with the steep terrain for quite some time, never been fully happy with the container port, and the texture on some of the cliffs was always annoying to me, but I love the concept of this map for a city, it reminds me of Auckland in my home country.

    5/5,
This is a five star city to me! I really like the modern bridge and the modern buildings right beside the slums, what shows the social difference just side by side. Also i liked your planning and the wide, sprawled low-areas all around the city. Congrats!

    4/5,
Uma grande cidade, espero que você invista mais em transportes, pois o transito não está tão tranquilo, mas certamente eu moraria nessa cidade. Muito linda e agradável...
