CXL 2012 Graphic Error

I've seen those graphic bugs with some aitortilla's mods, and some errors in the log file about non supported materials. I don't think there is nothing you can do except ignoring those bugs.

 

I have just returned to Cities XL (Platinum) and the very first thing I wanted to work on was a harbor area using Aitortilla's mod packs. Unfortunately, they are not working for me. When I plop a piece, it seems to land just underwater--in one instance I could see light poles and a vehicle rising out of the water. Or maybe it's placing at the bottom of the water, regardless of water depth? I don't know, but the pieces also completely glitch out the game graphics at different zoom levels as well. The image above is similar to my problem.

I tried to see if I had a conflicting mod installed--I installed other mods years ago--but I couldn't tell. And I did not want to just empty the paks folder because I don't know if some of those files are necessary to the game? Some people seem to use these packs just fine but I can't. Any suggestions, anyone?
