Cities XXL Weird Light Graphical Glitch

    Hi all,

    i have noticed a weird graphical glitch with the street lights when is night in the game. Some strange lines cutting the roads in square pieces,

    And sometimes when i delete a road, some lights are remaining inside the ground, like in the picture below:

    Has anyone else similar problems? This is happening both in modded game and vanilla xxl.

    If it's doing this in the vanilla version then FHI should be alerted to it.

    I am pretty sure it hasn't to do with any mod. I have test it also in vanilla, removing all the mods from my pak folder, in a new fresh map, same issue. I am keeping all my mods in a separate folder, so i am sure i haven't forgot to remove any. I will try to re-install the game to see if this is going to fix the problem.

    If the problem is still present, even after re-installing the game, how can i inform FHI?

    It's no Mod, This issue has been reported and acknowledged in FHI bug tracking system.

    I can contact them if the problem is indeed in the vanilla version otherwise you could post a topic on the main XXL forum (http://forum.citiesxl.com/) I will test what you have found a bit later unless someone else does it before me. I have to head out for a while.

    Thank you both for your answers. I re-installed the game, but the problem is still there with no mods used. Well, if FHI knows about that then we can only wait and hope for a fix/patch.

    I just formated my computer and reinstalled the game without mods.

    Same.

    I created a topic about that.

    They'll fix that, I hope.

    I have the same problem... I've formated the computer without mods and the problem still persists.

    Just happens in streets at night vision.

    Huge bug!

    i got that bug too, but when i upgrade my pc graphic to nvidia gtx series it's gone. are you guys using AMD graphic card?

    I just bought a video card... ATI Radeon R7 - 260X, YES, AMD!!!

    So, it's something to do with our video card type??? I suspected.

    It is likely an off by one in one of the video driver routines.
    Check to see if you have the latest driver.

    I don't know, but i suspect too
    i've been using AMD HD radeon card series before with catalyst driver always updated,it's buggy on other games as well.
    i read somewhere that the catalyst driver are crap

    So... Can I install a driver without Catalyst? I just changed to a better video card and that happens... omg
    Won't buy ATI Radeon anymore.

    My previous video card had the same issue in Platinum. Also ATI Radeon.

    Should I contact them? Or wait another patch?
    I just bought this video card for this game.

    there is an community driver on guru3d.com, i dont know if it still developed since last time i use it like 8 years ago :D

    I have the same problem. And I'm pretty sure it started with my new PC which has an AMD videocard.

    I'm getting the same on a new install of XXL. Running it on a HP laptop with Intel HD 3000 graphics.
