    Hey this mod looks awesome, but how do i get it to work please? I made a Mod folder in my root game game directory but it doesn't work, the file is a patch, but doesn't have an .exe? many thanks again hopefully i can get this working :)

    Download the mod and place it in the Paks folder located in the game installation folder (should be C / Program Files / Steam / steamapps / common / Cities XXL / Paks).
    You can use this skybox by selecting it in the drop down menu of the view panel...

    There is an old mod for XL called Realistic Day/Night cycle. It doesn't have a skybox, of course. But it improves the reflections and changes the lighting.
