    Hey guys,

    I am currently having a creative block in one of my cities that ive been working on and have decided to take a break from that map while I find some inspiration. In the meantime, I was wondering if any of you guys can suggest a number of custom maps that would be great for a medium sized city preferably if its on an island with crystal clear blue waters. If the map was flat it would be even better :)

    That is a bit paradox what you are saying:
    You wish for a medium sized city, but the terrain should be mostly flat.
    I know that one can work better on flat maps, but when large
    proportions of the given land area are flat, your city will never be just
    medium sized but rather become a large metropolis...
    Nonetheless, my suggestions are the following:

    Uncharted Waters by The Funky Monk, it is a rather hilly
    area peninsula that has just two or three really flat areas,
    but these areas are larger, so you can build whole city parts.
    It allows both for having either smooth transitions to the beach
    or having a rather steep and rocky transitions...
    Crystal-clear water, for your information :)

    Fernando de Noronha, a medium sized island that is UIM-compatible
    (I tested that). Crystal-clear water, rather really flat! But it does NOT
    have any natural hills, so you have to do artificial hills yourself...
    And the coastline is a bit boring, I have to say...

    Egmont Islands by skullz613, crystal-clear water, and also very flat,
    so no hills or similar; but it has some little inland lakes, which make it more
    attractive than Fernando de Noronha :)

    Thank you so much for your suggestions. They fit most of my specifications :) I will try out the uncharted waters as it looks promising for a mid sized city. Reason I asked for a mid sized city is because I rather spend time decorating and detailing all the little bits of the city instead of creating a huge city just to have buildings repeat themselves a hundred times. Once again thanks for your time.. :)

    Although I do like this map, it crashes everytime I try to create a city. And i have the latest UIM.. :(
