    Am very new to Cities XXL, I have tried about 6 different citys but always end up badly lol

    I was wondering, what mods are recommended for nubies as I really like this game but think I need some help to get started.

    Just play and learn the game mechanics. Read as many discussions as possible on this forum and look at city journals. In time you will master the game.

    I recommend these mods
    Dependency - Cities XXL Community Patch
    General - Fix for old mods shader crash errors (XXL)
    General - Buildings over water - XXL
    General - Flexible Placement Mod
    Transportation - Small Pedestrian Paths XXL (most important)
    Ploppables - 56 Smaller Trees XXL
    Ploppables - Monty's trees, flowers and bushes.
    Ploppables - Deco pack #1
    any building like this or smaler to fill the gaps when you build with roads in 30, 60 angle
    Buildings - Los Angeles Homes Pack
    General - Dig Area Tool

    After that, you can download any mod you want.

    P.S. 2017 trend is to have Realistic Highway Mod, train station, airport, and harbor built in the city.:angel:

    I didn't expect such a quick response but it was very welcomed.

    Have watched a few Lets Play vids and thats what got me hooked as I like these type of games.
