    I don't think it will be possible at launch, since a lot of mods require major add-ons that will need an update, like UIM, custom shaders maybe.

    I very much doubt it will be possible, personally. Especially if your cities make use of existing mods, which, for the time being, will likely be incompatible with XXL.
