Lextacy_2008, has already made those buildings.

 

I don't mind the look of his buildings. I think they look great in my American cities in Cities XL.

 

Wait until my city of Craterville is finished. Then, I'll post my city journal.

 

Just to add to what Skullz mentioned, from what I recall the Generation City mod modifies one single building so that you can have a Subway store and a McDonalds store both from the same mod. There is also another McDonalds mod from somewhere (this is not one of Lextacy's mods) that's based on the ingame burger store.

 

I have to agree, Lextacy makes bucket-loads of mods, but most of them just aren't very good. I've had problems with 9o% of the ones I've tested. Bases too small, bases too big, bad colour matching, very poor textures, missing textures, poor placement of cars in carparks.
I can appreciate his efforts to make a lot of mods but quantity really does not make quality
He has some great ideas and some of his mods would be incredibly good if he just took the time to produce them to the standard we expect from the game but as they are at the moment, well let's just say I don't want my cities to look like something out of the Simpons so I will not use his mods.

SOME of his mode were pretty good, but some, like his McDonald's, were not very good. None of his mods were as good as Oyster and Vorcha said they were.
