Also, I really like the composition of skyscrapers!
But the city only has 40,000 people and is 60% completed?

 

By the way, I do notknow whether an airport would be adequate
in that hilly terrain. So maybe the best option was to flatten the little island totally,
and place one longer runway there. I would opine that not more than one runway would
fit into that area. Then, you could place a road tunnel below the runway, and maybe have
a bridge running to the city...

Darn... wish I could have updated my rating... I completely over looked your airport. I get rather picky about which map can hold airports. In reality, we don't typically construct airports as close to a city center as we have to in XL. I like your proportions in regards to the areas of your map, looks really smart. This is a pretty awesome city you have completed.

Found another major airport close to a downtown in the US while wandering around Google Earth... Phoenix's int. airport is very close as well.
