1. If you are going to register on XLNation, please make sure you do not use a proxy server.
    If you use a proxy server your registration will most likely get blocked due to spammers and hackers using proxy servers to hide their real IP address.

    If your using your home or work IP address and have not received your registration email, check your spam folder.

CXL Platinum Re-install issues

    I am having a re-install issue that maybe someone can help with.
    I had to reformat my win8.1 laptop and upon reinstall of the game I am running into issues. I reinstall CXL2011 and all is good. The issue begins when I try to install platinum over it. Upon install it acts fine, but it never asks for the activation code. It just finishes the install and puts the shortcut on my desktop. One thing though, when I use the shortcut, or go the long way through the program folder, I get an internal error screen. I believe that it is generated because I am not activating the update correctly. But I am never asked for the activation code. The game boots up (very slowly - a couple of minutes) using the CXL2011 shortcut but I used the CXLPlatinum shortcut before. I don't understand where I am going wrong here and hopefully someone does.
