    If the game crashes with any single mod installed it sounds like there is a problem with your UMI installation. You might try reinstalling it. Pay special attention to the folder level it is supposed to go in as it won't work if you select one too high or too low.

    If you don't have the UMI installed then that is almost certainly the problem. You can find it here: http://xlnation.net/resources/xl-user-interface-mod.8/
