A hamstring gave me time and so i could finally do this project i have planned for some time. I have to say thanks especially to skullz for the map and drazicdesign for the firenze pack.

Away from the stress and bustling life of the countrys' metropolises, at the easternmost tip of Azuls' mainland (San Fernando peninsula), there is Porto Nuevo. The former spanish colonial city was a small port city at an important strategical location. But the growth of the town occured in the late 18th century, after the buccaneers age and golden years of spanish glory in its colonies.
The town is special in its administration. It is not a single city, it's an official municipality merger, initially founded 1967 for more efficient actions in tourism issues. See the map below:

Porto Nuevo is - as the more western located CJ - Cuva Cavelio - a popular touristic destination, tourism is the main source of income for the citys' budget. Hence the town council promoted that particular industry and decided on advantageous regulations. The sector has been modernized, nevertheless it was always important to keep the UNESCO title of world heritage, so newer projects extra had to be approved first to not threaten it.
Furthermore Porto Nuevo is (a) host city of the sailing games of ISAF, the national golfchampionsships, the "Tour Azul" (famous bicycle race), an annual marathon, an annual, popular triathlon, the Porto Nuevo Beach Rockfestival, the Island Musicparty and other numerous outdoor events for sports and culture.

The tourist attraction in Scalapata was a former fortress. It is in a good condition, well preserved and restored. See also the fountain and the medieval pedestrian bridge.

The old trade route in Pueblo Cristo was important for merchants from the domestic market and abroad. Today the road still takes almost the same course, but has lost importance of course. It is the thoroughfare of the town.

Thanks! I really like such mediterranean town on hills. I tried to create such city, nice you like it. It was a bit tricky here and there with steep roads, but it also opened some options. :-) You are always welcome here!
